Avoid eating or drinking for at least half an hour. Do not ingest any remaining fluoride in the mouth. Spit it out as and when required. After half an hour rinse your mouth thoroughly with water. Varnish will remain on your teeth for approximately 4 - 6 hours. Please follow the guidelines below during this time only. Resume the above activities after 6 hours. Do not use fluoridated medications for 3 days after the treatment. A thorough brushing / flossing (after 6 hours) will remove any remaining traces of your varnish / gel.
